CFO Sandra Bridgeman was recognized by The Women Honors Committee

(Miami, FL October 30, 2018) - City of Miami Assistant City Manager / Chief Financial Officer Sandra Bridgeman was selected as one of three women who will be recognized by the Women Honors Committee and Babson College during the second annual "Women Honoring Women" ceremony.
Each year the Women Honors Committee celebrates the professional achievements, contributions to women's progress and community service of outstanding women who have paved the way for others. This year's honorees, Sandra Bridgeman, Iris Escarra and Penny Townsend were recognized for the selfless work they have done to better their community.
Sandra Bridgeman joined the City of Miami as Assistant City Manager / Chief Financial Officer in April 2018. Ms. Bridgeman most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department where she oversaw the management of the airport's financial risks and available resources and served as a strategist to the executive management team. She previously worked as Controller for the Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Aviation Department, and held other finance and accounting positions in local government.
Iris Escarra is Co-Chair of the Miami Land Development and Zoning Practice and practices land use, zoning and procurement law. Penny Townsend has served as the Head of School at Ransom Everglades since July 2014.
The 2017 honorees were City of Miami Finance Director Erica Paschal-Darling, City of Miami HR Director Angela Roberts and City of Miami Transportation Deputy Director Sandra Harris.
