Electronic Plan Review (ePlan) has now launched in the City of Miami's Building Department. As an expansion within other departments, ePlan allows stakeholders, residents and customers to work via online and therefore no longer have to wait in lines. This faster and more resourceful tool allows one to apply, check on applications and work with interactive drawings and documents all from their homes or offices. ePlan is an expansion of the City of Miami's digital transformation.

Both Mayor Francis Suarez and City Manager Emilio Gonzalez attended the grand opening in which they shared that ePlan will put Miami on the map as one of the most innovative cities in the U.S. and in the world. Commissioner Willy Gort was also in attendance supporting the newest addition to the Building Department. The Mayor, City Manager and Commissioner toured the Building Department and interacted with ePlan and those who were already using the tool. In only a few hours of the launch, over 400 applications had already been submitted through ePlan.

The City of Miami strives to continue these innovative resources and to be part of the global digital transformation.
